French singer-songwriter Sarah Maison first appeared on ‘Western Arabisant’ in 2018, with her first EP (‘Sarah Maison’) released in the same year. She then went on to self-produce ‘Soleils’ in 2021. In Sarah Maison’s music, the words and the music always come together, in an inspiration, an energy. The melodies and the meaning of the words revolve around each other to create a singular, autobiographical music that resonates with her dual Franco-Moroccan culture and her musical obsessions. Author, composer, arranger and performer, Sarah Maison wanders through different musical continents, pop, rock, folk and French chanson with disarming naturalness. Her performances, supported by carefully crafted set designs, celebrate the dramatic dimension of divas.
