Pamela Tulpa takes to the stage to deliver a few slaps and a few caresses – it’s combat jazz.
Their new album, L’Onirisme du Bail, will be released on 25/10/2024 by Vinyloff Records. The quartet have settled in as representatives of the Terroir and Paris-Est sounds. A skilful blend, the cello and saxophone responding to the rhythms, the trance taking hold. Wild as a parrot, Pamela is jazz but not just jazz. Mixing genres and mixing people.

First Part : Coccolite
Faithful to their “fusion” aesthetic, the group has implemented production techniques borrowed from the most current urban music genres to create a sharp, cohesive sound with extraordinary organic power. The cinematic compositions, with complex and ever-changing scenarios, blend epileptic grooves from the most contemporary music styles (Trap, Drill, electronic music in all its forms) with textures and timbres that mix synthetic and acoustic sounds, demonstrating a true sense of color and material. Through a sci-fi narrative, the trio takes the listener to the brink of trance. “Extrasystole” projects a harsh, violent, oppressive, and dark world, yet also one animated by a true vital energy imbued with neo-romantic melancholy, which paradoxically contradicts the impending catastrophe by reintroducing body, desire, and emotion into the relentless machinelike fate that threatens us. Julien Sérié, Nicolas Derand, and Timothée Robert masterfully develop an “environmental” music that is both dreamlike, ultra-sensory, and powerfully dramatic.
