Drawing inspiration from the rich storytelling traditions of folk music, Finnegan immerses listeners in a dark, natural soundscape, where the sounds of thunder and river water weave seamlessly into his compositions. His deep connection with nature is a continuous presence in his work, reflected in the organic textures and atmospheric elements he incorporates. “Old One” pulls the listener into a mysterious, ethereal portal.
After a period of deep introspection, culminating in an extreme wilderness experience without food, water, or shelter, Finnegan emerged with a new creative vision. This transformative journey has given rise to an extensive body of work, with “Old One” marking the first single from this project, expected to fully unfold in 2025. A short video snippet from the track has already gone viral on social media, generating significant buzz ahead of its release.
