‘Dear friends,
I’m very proud to present the songs from my new album, Country.
Country music has a strange image in France. It is at once a well-kept secret garden for connoisseurs, who know all the depth, poetry, complexity and subversive dimension of the genre. But most of the time, it’s associated with the slightly cheesy image of a cowboy shouting ‘yihaaa’.
It’s against these prejudices and misunderstandings that I like to talk about country music wherever I go, and explain just how rich and diverse it is.
