D2R is a 23-year-old Ivorian rapper from Abidjan, based in Paris for the past five years. A true lyricist, his hip-hop merges classic rap styles like trap and boom-bap with Ivorian sounds such as zouglou, zoblazo, and coupé-décalé. Through his lyrics, D2R narrates the experience of a young man from the Ivorian diaspora, building a bridge between Côte d’Ivoire, where he grew up, and France, where he has forged deep connections.

Well known on the Paris open mic scene, he is passionate about performing, with solid experience in concerts in France and internationally. He has made his mark in joint performances on prestigious stages like La Bellevilloise, the Philharmonie de Paris, and La Place Hip-Hop. After two solo shows at La Ferronnerie and Metaxu, he’s taking on a new challenge with a performance at La Boule Noire, promising a unique musical journey between Abidjan and Paris, immersing us in the heart of his story and culture.
