You have to hit rock bottom to be free to do what you want. This moral from the film Fight Club applies well to the duo of Samir Flynn and Malo, who live for music and join forces to break down its barriers. Together, these two self-taught musicians, influenced as much by the neurosis of Radiohead as by the spleen of Guizmo and the gentle pop of Billie Eillish, have become inseparable. Malo, as a composer, pushes Samir’s limits as an interpreter, creating a harmonious chaos of emotions. Together, they were winners of the Buzz Booster 2023 competition, performing as support act for Luidji and at the Rose Festival 2024 alongside La Fève, TIF and Yamê.
