A phenomenon of the streamosphere and a new sensation on the Quebec rap scene, Aswell has established himself in just a few years as a key voice on the local music scene, as well as a figurehead for musicians of his generation.
Buoyed by his first two career projects, the Solo EP released in 2021 and the Banlieue album released in 2024 and launched at a sold-out Club Soda, the young artist has already racked up over 55 million listens on all streaming platforms, and a gold single certification for his track Leaving. He has also performed on some of the biggest stages in the province (Francos de Montréal, FEQ, Festivoix de Trois-Rivières, Le Festif! de Baie-Saint-Paul).
Navigating between emo rap, pop and Quebec folk, Aswell stands out for his catchy, melodic flows and his personal, authentic, introspective lyrics, in which he explores tumultuous love affairs, existential emptiness and the ambition to succeed surrounded by loved ones.
Support : Tallou
Just three years after launching her project, Tallou has made an unprecedented mark on the alternative hip-hop/soul scene. With her smooth voice, she brings her monsters to life in a dreamlike world. Quickly picked up by the Rennes network, she cut her teeth opening for Youv Dee, Baby Neelou, A2H, and IAM, as well as at regional festivals such as Mythos, Quartiers d’été, I’m From Rennes, and Transat en ville. For her first Parisian date at La Boule Noire, she presented her new EP EXIL with its conceptual arrangements. Focused on the quest for self, she navigates between love and neuroses to offer a sincere and introspective work.
Her musicality stands out and makes a new soul impression shaped by the rap scene, gliding elegantly over Tom’s instrumentals, which are sometimes pop, dance, jazz, R&B, or hip-hop. It’s all about balance between colors and feelings. With her dreamy, smooth voice, she sings about her scars to the moon.
