Artemas, 24, full name Artemas Diamandis, has only been releasing music since late 2020, but is rapidly developing a distinctive alternative pop sound with captivating melodies. The self-taught multi-instrumentalist and unconditional pop fan made the most of his bedroom during the pandemic, spending most of his waking hours perfecting his productions. Since May 2023, Artemas has been working independently, releasing a new track every 3 to 5 weeks, growing both his audience and his online fanbase. Taken from his long-awaited new mixtape “pretty”, “cross my heart” accumulated 500k streams in 24 hours, with over 20k TikTok creations in its first week of release. The latest single, “if u think I’m pretty”, immediately went viral and is climbing the Billboard charts.
His early tracks have seen him gain support from BBC Radio 1, Apple Music and Spotify. He also opened for Rex Orange County at London’s Gunnersbury Park, and played dates at Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Reading & Leeds Festival, Latitude Festival and many more.
