Carolesdaughter will be performing at La Boule Noire on 16 July 2026, for a Paris show not to be missed.
Born Thea Taylor, the youngest of ten siblings in Southern California, Carolesdaughter found refuge and a reason to keep going in the arts. Her first tracks, recorded in her bedroom at just 17 years old, quickly attracted attention, particularly “Violent”, which has now racked up over 325 million streams and been certified double Gold.
On her 18th birthday, she signed with Arista Records, marking the beginning of a rare partnership between artist and label. Having performed in clubs, theatres and arenas across the US and Europe, she has now, at the age of 22, established herself as a seasoned live performer.
After several years of experimentation, Carolesdaughter and her many collaborators have crafted a unique sound, fuelled by her lifelong love of jazz and rap, whilst redefining the boundaries of pop. Today, she writes with clarity and confidence, in a world that is entirely her own.
