Since 2002 and thanks to over 500 concerts in Europe, the USA and Canada – from the pub in Dublin to the café-concert in La-Roche-Sur-Yon, from the prestigious stages of SxSW in Austin to the stage of La Nef in Angoulême, and from the underground club of San Feliu de Guixol in Spain to the trendy club of Glasgow in Scotland – the Angevins of daria have forged themselves a solid reputation on stage. Whether opening for others (Against Me!, Kepone, Seaweed, etc.) or headlining on their own, they’ve never stopped swallowing up the miles to defend their singular rock. One evening in March 2013, after a concert at the Black Cat, a legendary club in Washington DC, a beanie-clad figure lurking in the shadows said a sincere and encouraging “That was a good show!”…

Daria marked his comeback at the end of 2022 with the track “Water & Sand”. He then announced the composition and recording of his 5th album, “Fall Not”. For the occasion, Etienne, Camille and Arnaud welcome a new bassist, Pierre-Yves (ex-Les Thugs, ex-L.A.N.E.). Produced and recorded by the band themselves during 2023, then mixed by producer and friend J.Robbins (already at the helm of “Impossible Colours” and “Open Fire”), this new album will be released on November 8, 2024 on the Twenty Something label (Go Public! Fragile, Vanilla Blue), a division of Nineteen Something (Les Thugs, Les Rats, Sloy). “Fall Not” shows a revitalized Daria whose music has matured considerably, becoming more abrasive and percussive, as well as more melodic and serious.

Gone is the diktat of the 2’30 pop straitjacket, the band wants to give its compositions every chance to blossom. This transformation is also perceptible in the lyrics. They now play a more central role, thanks to a refined English pen that is paradoxically more imaginative but also more incisive, no longer hesitating to tackle political, personal and humanist themes.

First part : Pamplemousse

‘Freshly settled in Lorraine this summer, Pamplemousse, a group founded on Reunion Island, are now playing as a duo (guitars/vocals & drums).

A garage noise base tinged with abrasive blues that stands out from the postcard Indian Ocean.

After three albums released on the A Tant Rêver du Roi label to rave reviews from the French and international media (Rolling Stone, Mowno, New Noise, Les Inrockuptibles, Maximum RnR, KEXP, BBC6, Double J, etc. ), who have compared them to the likes of Fugazi, Girls vs Boys and Chokebore, Pamplemousse continue to shape their style as a duo with the release of their new album ‘Think of It’: edgy, wild; even when they slow the tempo down a little, the tension is palpable and the eruption always close…’.
