Leading a new underground movement of punks, rappers, nerds and ravers, Deijuvhs is set to bring the chaos back to Paris with a concert at La Boule Noire on 10 June 2025.
After honing his songwriting skills in frenetic studio sessions and kicking ass at DIY festivals, a buzz is building around Deijuvhs. And he’s in control. MC, singer and leader, Deijuvhs draws his musical influences from a post-internet world. On a series of mixtapes (‘Forever Hoodpunk’, ‘Flower Ghoul’ and ‘Perpetual States of Boredom’), his catalogue ranges from grunge to soft indie punk to nu metal.
His next project, ‘Cemetery Scum’, due in May 2025, is the perfect representation of his movement. ‘It’s night as hoodpunk,’ says Deijuvhs of the mixtape’s overall vibe. ‘Cemetery Scum‘ draws its framework as much from Deijuvhs’ musical appetite as it does from the atmosphere and aesthetics of iconic films like Blade, Matrix and Queen of the Damned.
