GWIZDEK is a French alternative pop band from Grenoble, born in 2020.
In May 2022, they released Uzès, a first EP favorably received by the media (Radio France / France Inter / Jack / Brain / FIP etc…).
Gwizdek is a formula tinged with classicism and elegance, with sound research and dynamics as powerful as they are varied, drawn from their multiple influences and combined experience in rock, pop and urban music.
In terms of content, Gwizdek is a veritable initiatory journey in real time, carried by the lyrics, voice and personality of the singer, who paints as much his own portrait as that of our world. Contemporary themes are juxtaposed: solitude and friendships, ambitions, intimacy and our relationship with new technologies. A psychoanalytical confession that invites us to embrace, question and overcome our personal and social anxieties, and answer the question: After all, what is it to be human these days?
Their acclaimed live performances at FIMU, Musilac, MaMA, iNOUïS du Printemps de Bourges and as opening acts for Feu Chatterton, Bertrand Belin and Pierre de Maere make them part of the new emerging scene to watch, and provide them with a fine entourage: PeerMusic France for publishing, BAAM Productions for touring, IDOL for distribution and Blue Veins Productions for the phono label.
