La Boule Noire is delighted to present its new all-night-long live concert format, INTERFERENCE. Starting in April, once a month between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m., you’ll be invited to discover on stage a new generation of musicians evolving on the edge of jazz, on the frontiers of electronic music, flirting with experimental sounds – inspired by soul, hip-hop, R’n’B or afrobeat.
INTERFERENCE will be a permissive space of artistic distortion, where interference is welcome. With this format, La Boule Noire is betting on hybridization, offering live music all night long. Conceived as an alternative to the club, this format invites you to come and dance, have a drink and awaken your curiosity by discovering inspiring shows.
As of April 6, 2024, La Boule Noire dreams of being a New Orleans club, inviting POOR BOYS (“a duo combining the organic percussion of TISS and the electronic expertise of NSDOS“) to take over the venue. The fusion of these two assertive musical identities will deliver hypnotic live performances, oscillating between jazz, experimental music and electronic sounds.
The evening will open with a live performance by SYQLONE with a “cyber chaâbi” aesthetic (a blend of club music, video games and traditional North African music). She will join the duo on stage later in the night.
