Jane Weaver rebalances her singular trajectory in the British musical landscape with her most direct and intimate album to date. Love In Constant Spectacle evokes spectacular images and distills the artist’s vision in its purest form, elevating her inimitable sound and poetic vision to new heights. Recapturing the melancholy of her early works while propelling them forward, she sketches scenes while watching new colors, shapes and languages emerge.

With Love In Constant Spectacle, she strides forward to a vivid, dreamlike record that offers resolution in the face of life’s inevitability. The foundations of Weaver’s sound are still evident – lush motorized drums, pulsing bass, custom synthesizers and exotic fuzz pedals – but the flow is awash with the poetry of scrabble pieces and Letraset lullabies that lead to a lush escapism, the free abandon we associate with free jazz and the avant-garde. But, as determined and visionary as Weaver can be, Love In Constant Spectacle wasn’t made without help. Here we find Jane’s first producer, John Parish (PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding), who shared Weaver’s process at Rockfield Studios and Geoff Barrow’s Invada Studio.

Love In Constant Spectacle is another world, at once intimate and remote, a surreal interpretation of the foundations that make us human – the stories and landscapes it depicts are habitats in their own right.

A journey into uncharted pastures, a heartfelt manifesto from an artist who continues to evolve without limit in every chapter of her career.
