JETLAG is an evening for those who know this sense of dislocation. Not the kind you experience on a plane, but the one you carry with you all the time. Three artists, three ways of setting to music what it means to have grown up between cultures.
baozi is celebrating the release of *liminal echo*, her second EP, born out of a return to China and Hong Kong – an electropop sound suspended between what we leave behind and what we become. Joining her are Cumulus., navigating between nostalgia and a quest for self, and Ilo Navahy, a punk and socially conscious voice who asserts the right to be whole.
One night, three worlds, a single identity: that of having made the in-between a home.
BAOZI

Between childhood memories, club music, and alternative pop, baozi transforms intimate emotions into music made to dance to.
A 24-year-old French singer-songwriter from Hong Kong, baozi discovered music through violin and piano before turning to electronic composition as a teenager. At 14, she released her first solo project under the name g y l s, which has since surpassed one million streams on Spotify.
After moving to Paris to study design, she created baozi, a more personal and immersive project developed alongside her producer. Blending house, techno, and alternative pop, she builds a cinematic soundscape where introspective lyrics meet textured electronic production. Influenced by the French Touch, Billie Eilish, and Bolis Pupul, her music explores vulnerability, nostalgia, and the complexity of growing up.
Her debut EP, Overstepped (2025), explored themes of anxiety, dissociation, and self-discovery, followed by the deluxe version Over(over)Stepped. In 2026, a journey back to China and Hong Kong inspired her second EP, liminal echo, a softer exploration of childhood memories and the transition into adulthood.
Through a strong dialogue between sound, image, and storytelling, baozi creates an intimate yet danceable universe : somewhere between the emotional depth of bedroom pop and the energy of a club.

Cumulus. is a 25-year-old artist and producer who grew up between China and South Korea. Self-taught, he began composing music from his bedroom at the age of 14, starting out on iPad apps.
During the 2020 lockdown, he decided to launch his solo career under the moniker “Cumulus.”.
He sings in English, French, and sometimes even Mandarin Chinese,Nhis native language. Refusing to be boxed into a single genre, he explores a wide palette of styles, ranging from bossa nova to R&B.
Today, he is preparing his debut project, an EP titled “NOTES2CŒUR*”.
ILO NAVAHY

From Dakar to Paris, from social media to the stage, and from a people-pleaser to a confident artist. More than just a passion, music has always been a means of empowerment for Ilo Navahy.
Coming from the Malagasy diaspora and having grown up in Senegal, Ilo Navahy was raised in a culture where singing is so ubiquitous that it is taken for granted. “In Malagasy culture, everyone sings. Advertisements are sung, and family gatherings are like concerts.
“It wasn’t ‘regarded as a talent’,” she confides. “I was just a good student who wanted to please her parents and those around her. That’s why I sang, too. But I didn’t dare admit to myself that it was what I wanted to do.” It was only once she arrived in France to study that Ilo discovered the freedom to break free from labels. She first collaborated with Jean Crosetti, the guitarist in her band, co-wrote an EP, and explored the behind-the-scenes world of music-making. Although this momentum came to an abrupt halt with the COVID-19 pandemic, the seed had been sown. But she initially slipped back into her role as the ‘well-behaved girl’, going from one work placement to the next, taking on various projects and simply ‘ticking boxes’ for four years.
Boredom and a sense of emptiness prompted her to take up music again on TikTok, initially just for fun, creating unexpected mash-ups: Balavoine and Daft Punk, Julien Doré and Olivia Rodrigo, Aya Nakamura and Jenifer, and so on. Alongside this, she taught herself to use Logic and learnt how to produce her own demos. She fell in love with the process and rediscovered her passion for creativity beyond the usual boundaries.
It was at this point that her videos really took off, and within a few months she had built up a community of over 70k followers. This newfound visibility led to key encounters that would shape her future and helped her find her way back to the major platforms. Three singles would emerge from these new collaborations.
