Hailing from Inverness in the Scottish Highlands, Katie’s candid songwriting and stunning voice have already won her a global following. Following the success of her viral track ‘complex demo’, she released a superb five-track EP ‘songs written for piano’ at the end of 2022. Katie has already received support from BBC Music Introducing, Radio 1 and BBC Scotland, and was included in the MTV UK Push Artists of 2022, and NME’s 100 Essential Artists of 2023. Her song “complex” earned her a nomination for “Best Song: musically and lyrically” at the 2023 Ivor Novello Awards.
