Klyne is an immersive Electro-R&B project formed by vocalist Nick Klein and producer Ferdous Dehzad. Hailing from a small Dutch town, with Indonesian and Afghani roots respectively, Nick and Ferdous began creating music together in their teenage years as an escape from everyday life.
Their journey took off in 2015 when they uploaded their debut single, Paralyzed, which quickly went viral and caught the attention of music blogs, tastemakers, and record labels worldwide. Having proven their global appeal as the blog era was winding down, Klyne became an online cult sensation overnight.
In 2017, they released their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album via Because Music, featuring the standout track Water Flow. The song became their second viral hit, amassing nearly 100 million streams and solidifying their place in the online music scene.
The duo has earned recognition from major industry names, leading to remixes for Disclosure and Sam Smith, as well as performances alongside Christine and the Queens, Metronomy, and Years & Years.
After a hiatus during which Nick and Ferdous explored their solo projects, Klyne is now set to make their return in 2025 with new music, continuing their partnership with Because Music.
