La Valentina is a Colombian artist living in Paris. She grew up with Latin influences. This heritage is fully reflected in her music:
Singing in both French and Spanish, she draws her inspiration from both French rap and salsa. This rare background gives rise to a unique musical style that blends conscious rap, melancholy, drill, boom-bap and Latin sounds. La Valentina creates these colors in the company of her producer and manager Tonio 8cho, and more broadly with the members of the 8FOR6 collective. A burgeoning artist, she reveals her universe at the crossroads of languages and genres.
La Boule Noire will be the artist’s first solo show, following a series of festival appearances and various stages in Paris and other French cities. It will be an opportunity for the artist to preform her latest project and unveil to the public a complete show blending tradition and modernity.
