A leading artist and pioneer of the French underground, Luni Sacks wears the hat of rapper as well as producer. A mysterious artist who has really been active since the late 2010s, he never ceases to produce high-quality, elegant and personal music, and makes sure that the visuals are up to scratch to accompany it.
Although his foundations are resolutely rap, his music is sometimes difficult to pigeonhole, so versatile is the artist. Paradoxically, his voice and writing style make his world instantly recognisable. You can sometimes feel a love of the 90s, or even the 70s/80s, particularly in his choice of often groovy music and nostalgic melodies, but his influences seem to have been so numerous and digested so long ago that you can’t really recognise them.
We recommend his latest full-length project,« Seltana Gene », released in 2022, as well as the singles « Une Rose », « Chamailler » and « Dans la putain d’city », released at the end of last year.
