A new project from Elliot Diener (the man behind the Pain Surprises label and the Petit Prince project), the name MaMaMa lies somewhere between Italian mother (Mama) and Alsatian grandmother (Mamema), and repeats its single syllable three times to convey the importance of resonances (whether familial, geographical or metaphysical) in indie pop music.
MaMaMa unveils ‘Le loup devient oiseau’, the first single from her forthcoming album, due out in early 2024, and explores the inner transformations associated with changes of context and life’s crucial decisions.
