Neniu’s creative universe is a constantly shifting, ever-evolving tapestry. Brimming with vivid imagery and rich soundscapes, it reflects the artist’s unique blend of whimsy, raw honesty, and deep-seated rage. Neniu distills years of composing and animating films—two art forms that, for him, are inseparable. “Music and animation evolve hand in hand,” he explains. His work is populated by endearing, almost childlike characters, whose deceptive innocence serves to explore the emotions and themes that inspire or infuriate him.

Since 2020, Neniu has crafted a singular body of work, forming a cohesive “little cosmogony”—a cocoon of electronic textures, field recordings, hyperpop, rap influences, and an unmistakable pop sensibility. At the heart of his music lies his computer, an “infinite instrument” that fuels his creative process. “Since music unfolds over time, transitioning from drawing to animation was natural,” he shares. Self-taught and endlessly curious, Neniu has mastered every facet of his craft, from songwriting to mixing, drawing on his emotions to create deeply honest and comforting tracks.
