PAOLO

At just 23 years old, Paolo has a wealth of experience and an impressive maturity. Having grown up in West Africa (Mali, Mauritania, Ivory Coast) and lived in more than six countries around the world, he draws inspiration from this journey. A music enthusiast, he wrote his first lyrics at the age of 16 and shared his first freestyles on social media during lockdown, with the sole aim of sharing what he loves doing with his friends and family. Now studying for a dual Master’s degree specialising in international solidarity and environmental engineering, he is balancing a future as an NGO project manager with a meteoric rise in the music world. A lyricist, he draws inspiration from figures such as Ben Mazué, Gaël Faye and Naâman, blending rap and singing in a constant quest for emotion, melody and meaning.
