BOOK

The jaded daughter of a deceased reverend in exodus, Ethel Cain finds her way into music as a desperate attempt to escape her stifling upbringing. Hayden Anhedönia, the woman behind the alias, is the sole architect of Ethel Cain's visceral and obsessive world, writing, producing and mixing her debut EP 'Inbred' alone from the basement of an Indiana church. Unanimously acclaimed by the critics since its release in 2021, 'Inbred' has received massive support from media such as Pitchfork, The Fader, Nylon, Vice or Billboard.  Ahead of the release of her debut album, Ethel Cain was also the first transgender ambassador for Spotify's EQUAL initiative to celebrate International Women's Rights Day.
After spending over four years meticulously building the sonic and aesthetic world of her album 'Preacher's Daughter', it is finally being released in May 2022, igniting her growing fanbase.

Ethel Cain will embark on her first US and European tour and will play the Boule Noire on December 4, 2022.
