A big fan of French rap from the P.L.V.S. neighbourhood in Pierrefitte-sur-Seine in the 93 district of Paris, Ratu started rapping at the age of 16. At the same time, he embarked on a football career, which enabled him to live abroad until he was 19. On his return to France, his life oscillated between CFA clubs and a few misdemeanours that kept him away from rap.
