REBE

Rebe is a lost doll that when she’s squeezed produces whispers, screams and chords that have been sounded a thousand times in the tradition of Spanish songs. It was created, according to her, after love and just before passion. That may explain why it has ballads of incomparable eroticism. However, the ins and outs of its sounds and its way of piling arrangements on top of the schema of a pop song until it is deformed make it difficult to place it in any genre. Rebe tells little legends about herself, theatrical love affairs that are sweet, bitter, ridiculous, fiery and catastrophic, but never implausible because the one who stars in them is she. In reality, as a doll she is deceptive, since she is the one who plays with you once she has your attention. It seems like she is just looking in the mirror, but she is at the same time captivating, bothering, begging and making fun of whoever watches her look at herself.
