Dog Days — those scorching days when everything slows down. For Rikas, it’s quite the opposite: a name inspired by one of the band members’ dogs, boundless energy, and a clear mission for their new European tour. For ten years, these four childhood friends have been moving forward together, always on the go, always closer than ever.

To celebrate this decade, Rikas are embarking on 13 dates across Europe with the Dog Days tour. The idea is to rekindle the spirit of their early days by returning to iconic venues, places that have been important in their journey and that they want to honor.

It all began in 2018 with their first EP, Swabian Samba, the first step in a musical adventure that quickly won over a loyal audience. Their signature? Light and playful harmonies, catchy choruses, and a deeply egalitarian approach: in Rikas, each member writes, sings, and shares the spotlight, both on stage and in the studio.

After a warm and sunny debut album, “Showtime” (2019), and two EPs (“Short Stories” in 2021 and “Goodbye Sunshine” in 2022), the band became a real live phenomenon in Germany. Their reputation soon spread beyond the country’s borders. Their second album, Soundtrack For A Movie That Has Not Been Written Yet (2025), propelled them onto the stages of London, Amsterdam, and Paris with sold-out headline concerts.

Today, Rikas are returning to where it all began: intimate venues, full of memories, where they have played over the last few years. It’s a return to their roots, offering a show that focuses on the essentials: forgotten demos, unreleased tracks, classics, and above all, that unique communion of song, dance, and unbroken camaraderie—just like on day one.
