After two albums and over 22 million streams for their debut single ‘Washed Up’, Sharktank are set to embark on an exciting journey into the new year with their latest EP, ‘Blinded’. This cryptic, genre-defying body of work is bursting with transformative energy. After a sold-out tour across Germany and Austria, a live session for NPR, and debut performances in the Netherlands and France, Eurosonic 2024 marked the next important step in their quest to establish themselves across the European music landscape. In 2020, Marco Kleebauer and Mile Lechner laid the foundations for Sharktank, and shortly afterwards Katrin Paucz joined the band. Since their debut with ‘Get it Done’ in June 2021, anticipation for their imminent international breakthrough has been growing steadily. Demonstrating an exceptional experimental spirit, they released their second album, ‘Acting Funny’, on 24 March 2023 and ‘Blindsided EP’ in early 2024. The year was marked by a European tour supporting Giant Rooks and a series of festivals such as Eurosonic, Great Escape, Haldern Pop and Europavox in France.
Sharktank is coming for its very first European tour and will be on stage at La Boule Noire on 2 October!
