SOFY is the perfect embodiment of an artist who exists in the space between genres. By blending the tension of trip-hop, the immediacy of Britpop, and the raw energy of garage rock, she has crafted a sound that is unmistakably her own. It is at once soulful, melodic, and uncompromising.

Long before her first official release, SOFY’s demos were already being played on BBC Radio 1 and praised by Arlo Parks, Sam Fender, and Yungblud. Within a year, this Leicester-born singer-songwriter was performing at Glastonbury and featured on the EA Sports FC soundtrack, marking the start of a frenetic three-year period during which she released two EPs and two full-length mixtapes, all while remaining fiercely independent.

This burgeoning success has led to sold-out headlining shows, main stages at major festivals, and opening slots alongside Liam Gallagher and Sabrina Carpenter. This summer, she’ll open for Kasabian and The Libertines ahead of the release of her debut album, How To Perform Magic, scheduled for September. It is her most experimental and intimate work to date.

Described by Dork as “the voice of a generation… an indispensable messiah for troubled souls,” SOFY is establishing herself as one of the most captivating new voices on the British guitar music scene.
