On 09/12, the Boule Noire is renewing its nightly vows by offering carte blanche to the “BriDJing womxn” project.
This initiative, supported by the Africolor festival, aims to encourage the emergence of mid-career female and non-binary artists in the field of electronic music.
It operates across borders in France, Tunisia and Albania.
BriDJing, a derivative of the word “bridge”, underlines the importance of creating bridges, cooperation and collective action to reduce and raise awareness of gender inequalities in particular.
Between 00:00 and 04:30, the artists selected for the Paris session will take to the stage at the Boule Noire for a series of B2B sessions.
The headline act will be dj and producer Sharouh, herself a mentor in the project.
She’ll be distilling a skilful blend of electronic ambience and Mediterranean sounds.
