The latest sensation on the English indie scene, with a bright future already predicted, The Mysterines is made up of one girl, Lia Metcalfe (vocals and guitar), and three boys, George Favager on bass, Callum Thompson on guitar and Paul Crilly on drums. They hail from Liverpool. The Mysterine is saturated grunge, garage rock but no ironing out, with its singer’s overpowering voice, energetic drums and constant, foot-to-the-floor energy. Lethal rock that quickly goes viral and becomes vital.
After supporting Arctic Monkeys on their UK stadium tour last summer, The Mysterines will be opening for Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes in 2024.
The Liverpool-based band will accompany Carter on his UK dates, as well as his European dates, and return for a one-off date in France on November 8, 2024 at La Boule Noire.
