A native of Créteil (94), Tizzy Miller is an artist at the crossroads of genres, the originator of GnB (Gangsta & Blues) – a hybrid style where rap, R&B, afroswing and neo soul merge around introspective writing and chiaroscuro melodies.
Nurtured from childhood by gospel, 2000s rap and Afro-Caribbean music, Tizzy has developed a personal musical universe guided by raw emotion and a constant quest for authenticity. In his songs, he talks about love, ego, resilience, faith and being a black man, with a singular sensitivity and a lucid view of the world around him.
His music, marked by a luminous melancholy, combines storytelling and chiselled musicality. Sometimes sung, sometimes rapped, his voice navigates between gentleness and tension, carried by prods that are often organic, sometimes electronic, but always evocative.
On his project “444”, as on his singles “Vide”, “Corrida” and “Cocktail”, his style is fully mature: sincere lyrics, controlled flows and an identifiable sound. A rapper, a singer and a sensitive observer, Tizzy Miller is building a body of work in which spleen becomes the driving force behind creation.
