Belgian author, composer, and producer Tsar B (Justine Bourgeus) returns with an ambitious and captivating third album, “The Writer,” scheduled for release on January 30, 2026. Conceived as an ode to love and vulnerability, this opus explores the torments of absolute passion in a world in crisis. In eleven tracks, Tsar B blends sensuality and despair, romanticism and lucidity, in a soundscape that fuses electronic music, neoclassical influences, and avant-garde pop. The first single, “Amor,” inspired by Monteverdi, embodies the duality of the album: between ecstasy and collapse, a cry of love and a look at a broken world.

With “The Writer,” Tsar B draws on his classical roots and collaborates with the Viennese vocal ensemble Dionysos Now!, reviving forgotten scores by Flemish composer Adriaen Willaert (16th century). These ancient polyphonies, reinterpreted and reassembled in her modern productions, infuse songs such as “I Wanna Love You” and “Fanatical/Radical” with a mystical aura, where passionate love meets artistic devotion.

On stage, Tsar B transforms her compositions into true sensory experiences. Surrounded by musicians and an immersive visual display, she promises a live show that is both intimate and grandiose—a celebration of passion, poetry, and the liberating power of music. She will be on stage at La Boule Noire on April 14, 2026, for a performance combining music, dance, and cinematic visuals.
