Inrocks Super Club : ANNA + BLEU REINE + DÉVORE

ANNA :ANNA’s pop music combines modesty and ambition, lush sound architecture and tightrope walking structures, catchy melodies and a weird patina, as few others on this side of the Atlantic do. Led by Martin Vidy, ANNA has gone through many incarnations, but in ten years and four albums, has shown that it’s still possible to unearth treasures in indie pop and guitar rock, as long as you dig a little alongside the others.

**Léa Lotz (Bleu Reine) has been crafting otherworldly soundscapes since 2019, inspired by the fairy-tale indie of Princess Chelsea, the rough songwriting of PJ Harvey or the glittering experimentation of Ana Roxanne. On stage, their multiple formats adapt to the mood of the songs: with four, five or six members, the group delivers hypnotic, heavy sets on the stages of Point Ephémère or at festivals. As a solo artist, Bleu Reine quenches his thirst for experimentation by performing in the crypts, clubs and libraries of the old continent in more intimate masses that end with electric guitar improvisations.
