Who the hell is Neil Baselo (pronounced Ba-zelle-ô)?
Neil is a self-taught musician. Since his teens, he has been writing lyrics that he sets to music on guitar or piano.
His songs are borrowed from real-life moments, nostalgic stories sometimes romanticized. He draws us into a dark pop universe.
Like a film by Cassavetes, whose work Neil adores, he is a singer of raw, realistic emotions, evoking love, friendship and family without artifice.
He also draws inspiration from the music of his peers, including Leonard Cohen, Coldplay, James Blake and Billie Ellish.
