At just 20 years old, British rapper Saam Sultan is forging a unique identity on the underground scene thanks to an ethereal, cinematic sound, fuelled by influences from cloud rap, alternative and indie music. He began his rise to prominence with his debut track, ‘Beginnings’, before breaking into the mainstream with ‘ydoifeel?’ — a hazy, tension-filled meditation on nostalgia, transforming his bedroom creative sessions into a growing presence on the music scene. His single “Locked in Love”, released in 2025, has since surpassed 5.9 million streams, helping to build a global audience of nearly 500,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
Drawing on early 2010s cloud rap, Y2K aesthetics and the contrasting worlds of Hans Zimmer and Jeff Buckley, Saam manages to combine sonic grandeur with vulnerability.
Beyond the music, he is building an interconnected creative universe through @triple4living and @ydoifeel, blurring the boundaries between the artist, the visual world and the community.
